Sailing Oyster Bumpkin

She is the last of two remaining sailing oyster bumpkins, the other being Gipsy CK79.
George Stoker named her Boy George after his son who sadly died while serving in a Navy ship by a mine in 1941. David Stoker remembers dredging with his grandfather,George Stoker Senior, in Boy George when he was 10, 1947. His aunt Mrs Evenden donated Boy George to John Milgate in 1988 to be restored by his boatbuilding evening classes.
Boy George is now owned by John’s daughter Charlotte Cock and is well loved member of their family.
