Description
Sailing winklebrig
Built by Charles Kidby of Brightlingsea believed to have been built for the skipper of the Boomie Barge of the same name GENESTA. Harry Stone was a well respected barge skipper in his day.
Gilbert Lee took on ownership of the GENESTA and his son Robert Lee is still her taking great care of her, often seen racing in the Mersea Fishermen’s Open Boats.
