NELLIE was built in Maldon it has been stated by Walter Cook but if her dates are correct, 1888, Walter took up the yard at Maldon named after him for the building of SB DAWN who was laid down in 1895 and launched in 1897.

NELLIE was registered as CK276 at Colchester by George Arthur Vince of West Mersea in February 1920, for trawling and dredging.
