Smack’s tender
Built by Charles Kidby of Brightlingsea for the owner of the smack Hyacinth Jesse George French , West Mersea
Then owned by Leslie French, Bill Baker brought her off him. She was to return to the French’s when young Cassell French brought her. He sold her to Alan and Tubby Brooks in the early 1990’s. They were regulars in the MFOB racing at West Mersea.
She is awaiting restoration by Gerard Swift.
