Built by Kidby’s of Brightlingsea we believe for the Norfolk family A.W Norfolk & Sons played an important part in the local sprat industry.
ALICE is a name in the Norfolk family since 1852 up to 1997 so there is a need for further investigation into the link between this working boat and the family.
There were many of these skiffs built for this work but today only four remain.
