2.17grt motor fishing boat.
Built by Jack Emeny who was working at William Wyatts of West Mersea for Leslie French. She was registered 13/09/1948. The second motor oyster skiff built after the war.
21/12/1959 Ted Woolf of West Mersea brought Silver Spray from Leslie French when he retired and sold his fleet and oyster layings.
Ron Liley was her next owner followed by Graham Lovegrove who brought her 17/10/1999 . Graham ran her as a trip boat around Mersea from 2002 to 2005
Her present owner brought her from Gerard Swift and commissioned Gerard to rebuild her. She was relaunched in July 2025. A very special project as Mark Hughes and his wife Catherine were determined that she was rebuilt using local timber and as small amount of plastic as was possible. She even has a West Mersea Oak transom.
